What is Ozone Therapy?

Ozone is a gas typically found in the upper atmosphere. Just like oxygen, ozone gas can be toxic in high amounts. In low controlled doses, ozone has amazing healing and cleansing properties. While oxygen is made up of 2 oxygen atoms, ozone can be thought of as super oxygen with three oxygen atoms. Treatment is typically administered through the skin, mouth, or the blood depending on the patients status and condition. Ozone should only be administered by practitioners with training on dosage and correct procedures.

Ozone therapy has been administered safely for over 50 years. It has been administered safely and effectively on a worldwide scale. Unfortunately, in North America, ozone therapy has not fully recognized by medical authorities despite its array of benefits.

Ozone can be a beneficial protocol for many conditions because of its widespread benefits. The highlighted benefits are listed below but realize there are more benefits than what is listed. If we included secondary benefits this post could be too long to read in one sitting.

  • Immune-regulating – Whether you have an autoimmune condition or a underactive immune system, ozone therapy can help the immune system regulate itself. This is done by helping immune cells produce specific cytokines – the molecule used by immune cells to communicate.
  • Increased Oxygenation within the Cell – Ozone stimulates the production of DPG, which results in oxygen intake in the cell. Cells are essentially starving of oxygen in absence of DPG.
  • Increases Energy Production within the Cell – Ozone helps up-regulate dysfunctional mitochondria. At delta our focus on mitochondrial dysfunction which we believe is the root cause of most diseases. Correcting the underlying cause of disease will thus result in a complete remedial outcome.
  • Anti-aging Properties – Ozone therapy is known to increase antioxidants protection within the body. With modern day toxins and chemical exposure on a daily basis, it is essential to keep antioxidant defenses high in the body.

Who Is It Best For

Ozone therapy is best for those who are gaining results from their program but would like a boost. By itself, ozone therapy is not a miracle therapy and will not completely cure a disease. When paired with other therapies such as the BX Protocol™, it can provide amazing results.

With its host of benefits, Ozone therapy can be a great protocol for any disease. With that said ozone therapy works wonders with some conditions. These conditions include:

  • Alzheimer
  • Lyme Disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Lupus
  • Measles
  • Pneumonia.
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Diabetes
  • Candida
  • Epstein-Barr
  • Hepatitis B and C
  • Herpes 1 and 2

Administration -Where Do You Go to Get It

Make sure your practitioner is trained on the administration of Ozone and knows the protocols. Ozone is typically administered through the skin, mouth, or rectum. Sometimes it is beneficial to try autohemotherapy which is administering ozone through the blood. Your practitioner will advise on the best method for your unique case.

We offer ozone therapy as a supportive therapy at our training center and our member retreat. If you would learn more about the BX Protocol and our healing centers, click here. If you are just looking for an ozone therapy center, a quick google search for “ozone therapy near me” usually yields good results. Make sure to check reviews and credentials before trusting just anyone.

Side Effects

Ozone therapy itself does not produce any side effects, although, ozone may cause your body to begin cleansing. When your body cleanses rapidly it is common for one to experience a Herxheimer reaction. This reaction is not a direct result of the ozone, but rather the body’s inability to cleanse the blood fast enough. The result of a Herx reaction include symptoms such as nausea, headache, fatigue, joint pain, muscle pain, cold sweats, fever, and chills. For more information about Herx reactions click here.
