What is Parkinson’s Disease?

Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder in which a person’s brain slowly stops producing dopamine. It is a progressive disorder that affects movement. As the dopamine production continues to decline, a person will be unable to control movements

  • Signs and Symptoms
  • Tremor or shaking
  • Loss of smell
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Trouble moving or walking
  • Constipation
  • Dizziness or fainting
  • Stiff muscles
  • Slow and limited movement
  • Weakness in face and throat muscles
  • Difficulty with walking and balance

The cause of Parkinson’s is unknown and presently no cure. Researchers have discovered the presence of Lewy Bodies, which are clumps of a protein alpha-synuclein, in the brain and brainstem of people with Parkinson’s disease.

BX Protocol™

At the core of Delta’s Theory of disease causation is identifying the exact mechanism of impairment associated with the illness. By focusing on the root cause, Delta’s research has consistently demonstrated that impaired mitochondrial functioning lies at the root of many chronic pathologies.

The Delta Institute has developed a comprehensive approach designed to treat this dysfunction which allows for a broad spectrum of diseases because the root cause of most disease lies in the mitochondria. Restoring mitochondrial health through the BX Protocol is key to health restoration.
